Westside Regional Park

Bodega Bay Rally

Hi Rossmoor Roadrunners!

 

Please join us for an April Bodega Bay RV rally at the Sonoma County Westside Regional park (RV dry-camp sites) next month, on April 25th through April 28th (out the 29th).  (Make your reservation for some or all of the four nites.)

 

Note the following specifics for this outing:

 

—-Reservations can easily be made and paid for on-line at Sonoma County Regional Parks (alternately, there is a telephone reservation number listed on the Sonoma County regional parks website). The cost is only $32 per nite, per site,  with a $9.50 reservation fee. 

 

—-sites are available on a FIRST COME, First serve basis so please reserve ASAP. 

 

—- this is a county park facility with individual picnic tables, nearby potable water and a dump station,   No hookups or amenities at the individual sites.

 

—- coin operated showers and restrooms are available in the park

 

—- the park is directly on Bodega Bay and quite serene and beautiful. 

 

—— this is an informal rally (like our recent Stockton marina rally) where we take care to meet outside and use masks and social distancing although many in our club are already vaccinated. 

 

—- evening outside cocktails / group social at  5:00ish each evening. Once there we will canvass the group for potential plans for Patio dining one night (several great  bodega restaurants) and a Pizza / salad night delivered... both if there is interest. 

 

—- days will be spent on the beaches, exploring the harbor, enjoying Bodega Bay, biking or hiking on your own. 

 

If interested, please go directly to the Westside regional Park map and campsite reservations page, ( https://parks.sonomacounty.ca.gov/Visit/Westside-Regional-Park/Camping/#siteContent ) and pick your arrival and departure dates then complete the reservation with your credit card payment. Cancellation of all or part of your fee is possible depending on when you notify the county. You can also change dates to a future time for a change fee. Reservations were fairly easy to do on line. 

There is no formal wagon-master but you can contact club VPs Earl Ansley or Lynda Phelps.   When you make your reservations, let us know you will be joining us.  We look forward to seeing you in Bodega Bay!!!     We hope you’ll be there...
